SAN JOSE, Calif. – Sept. 27, 2013 – Safety officers at industrial organizations have been looking for solutions to enhance plant-wide, worker and public safety in hazardous situations, enable faster response times and leverage real-time data to make critical decisions that help save lives and assets. At the NSC Show, the world's largest annual event for safety, health and environmental professionals, RAE Systems will showcase a wireless ProRAE Guardian-based “connected threat detection” environment. The real-time data will be reported from the company’s Portable ToxiRAE Pro single-gas monitors, MultiRAE multi-threat detectors, GammaRAE II R radiation detectors, AreaRAE transportable multi-gas and radiation instruments, and BioHarness biometric devices and third-party instruments.

Changing industry regulations and major safety disasters are creating demand for innovation in wireless gas and radiation detection solutions among global industrial organizations. RAE Systems will demonstrate its radiation and toxic gas detection innovations via its open, scalable ProRAE Guardian wireless safety monitoring system. ProRAE Guardian improves safety and security for incident commanders and safety managers through real-time remote monitoring of wireless gas-detection networks from anywhere in the world and from multiple sources, including existing sensors. ProRAE Guardian aggregates, logs and displays sensor information, biometric data and GPS information from wireless gas and radiation detection instruments into a comprehensive real-time display.
