Advanced ToxiRAE Pro User Certificate Training
Course Number: SVC-TP10-100
Duration: One day, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Certification: Dated Certificate of Completion, valid for 2 years
Who Should Attend: Hazmat Specialists, Safety Managers, End-users, and Service Technicians who are interested in learning to use and maintain the new ToxiRAE Pro. Contractors who find they must have "proof of competence" documentation on file.
Overview
Attendees who complete this class and pass the examination at the end will be able to:
- Understand how Photoionization sensors (PIDs) function
- Understand the benefits and limitations of PIDs
- Calculate Threshold Limits of mixtures and modify alarm settings
- Calculate and use Correction Factors (including mixtures)
- Set up, configure and test a ToxiRAE Pro
- Practice sampling live gases and interpreting results
- Download datalogged data and upload configurations and firmware upgrades
- Maintain the ToxiRAE Pro , including:
- Calibrate the monitor
- Conduct standard field diagnostic tests
- Maintain PID lamp
